I finally have a return date of Cold Reset for you, after all this time! Finally!!

I’ll cut to the chase, first – Cold Reset, Episode 8 starts weekly from February 6th 2025! New pages will land every Thursday afterwards, at 6PM GMT, hopefully for the foreseeable future!

Onto the details:

I took down all of my comics from external webcomic sites when I started doing my convention stuff last year. I wanted the comics only to exist on the main site, as I felt I needed to scale back a little and clean up what felt, to me, really messy. After giving the touring circuit a go, I learned a lot, made some great connections, and got my foot in the door of one or two festivals that I’d love to keep tabling at! So, it was a great move! I also got copies of my physical comics into actual customer hands, and saw record high traffic for this site off the back of exhausting my business card and newsletter supplies.

But, I know that Cold Reset especially, has its roots deep into webcomic territory. I had regular readers (that hopefully migrated here…) and was getting new eyes on the comic every week. But my schedule became inconsistent and before I knew it, years were passing by without much in the way of new content. The webcomic nature of it just felt DOA to me.

Now – with upgraded resources, a skip in my step, wind in my sails, bucket list boxes checked, a direction in mind, all of that good stuff – it’s time to bring Cold Reset back with a ka-blam!

Episodes 1-7 are entirely free to read RIGHT NOW on THIS VERY SITE, and so the new season of consistent posting will logically be picking up from Episode 8 onwards, starting Thursday, February 6th at 6PM GMT. Episode 9 is currently in production and I think my buffer is good enough that I can keep on top of weekly pages for a while (although I do have other projects in the works – not Meridian Six related! – that will occupy some of my time soon…)

But that also means that Cold Reset needs to find its way back to external sites, such as Webtoon, Comic Fury and Tapas (actually, just those ones for now!) but I can’t just slam-dump Episodes 1-7 then continue with Episode 8, right? I think this is a perfect time to reintroduce Cold Reset to those userbases, at a nice consistent rate – and if anyone who found it liked it that much, they could come here and catch up on their own time – it’s a good system! That also then means that it will take over a year before Episode 8 hits those sites… Talk about exclusive!

That’s fine by me, though. The real ones will be reading here at the main site.

And if you wanted to grab Episode 8 early, it’s available on the Store right now, in FULL, as part of the Cold Reset Catchup Bundle! I’m also toying with the idea of getting Episode 9 up there but I think the timing won’t quite work out.
