Just a quick one because I haven’t posted any news in a while. I’ve been mainly working on back-end stuff like this new website, some planning stuff, documentation, shuffling some ideas around, and sorting out some printing stuff – more on that last one soon. I’ve also been pretty busy in life, working a lot (job, not Meridian Six, sadly), I’ve moved temporarily so I have a long commute to and from work (end me), and I’ve been trying to just organise some other things in my life. It’s been a busy period that I wasn’t expecting.

However, things haven’t really stopped moving on the comics front. I have a lot of stuff organised and a clear plan of action. I’ve planned out in great detail the next five or six issues of Cold Reset, and I’m excited about a couple of new ideas I’ve worked in there. I think a big part of why it’s taken me so long to get 100% moving again is that I’m about to get stuck into a pretty hefty battle sequence, and I’ve been trying to work out how best to choreograph the fighting so that it looks realistic and professional. I don’t want someone who’s supposedly a black ops-trained combat expert like Amigo to be throwing weak-ass punches that I just drew on the fly. So expect this next stretch to take just a liiiiitttle bit longer to start churning out. It’s looking like this one scene is gonna take up the bulk of the next two issues, so buckle up buttercups.

Regardless, I’m quite excited to get it releasing weekly. Stay tuned, as always.
